Events are at the heart of the CiB community and are held regularly across the year. Starting out on Zoom these have now moved to being mostly held face to face. Events are open exclusively to CiB members and are a great way of building your network, identifying new partnerships and growth opportunities – as well discovering the wealth of knowledge and business diversity that exists in our town. The group aims to run at least 6 events across the year with a variety of themes and focus, the goal to support all areas of the business community.
Previous events have included sessions with the Federation of Small Businesses, Chambers of Commerce and similar groups from neighbouring towns and West Country entrepreneurs. We have also held summer socials and a Professional Business Fair.
Events are always hosted with a CiB member and are a fantastic way to showcase your business and share opportunities with members. Hosts have included the Crooked Swan, the Crewkerne Small Business Centre, Bilby’s, Waitrose and Crewkerne’s Museum and Heritage Centre and new host locations are always sought.
